The last of August cooled off here; one week was very chilly and a bit rainy. We thought it a perfect time to do one of the projects we had been planning, a fire pit. We set aside a Monday evening to dig and build it. Well that Monday it was 93 degrees, we built anyway. That evening we were finished and lit our fire. We sat on our patio and enjoyed our campfire listening to the gentle hum of the neighbor’s air conditioner.

Very nice! But did you have s'mores? We had Jason's friends from his Pacificare days over and someone brought caramello bars to put on our s'mores. Fancy, tasty and highly recommended.
Enjoy the fire pit!

Not s'mores yet, did hot dogs, though. I will have to try the caramello bars, yum. A couple weeks ago we went to a "Campout" in Elzey's driveway. They had 3 kinds of graham crackers and 2 flavers of marshmallos. I dubbed it a s'moresgabord.
I love our fire pit. It is fun to build a fire in the evening and have a few marshmallows. I will have to try the caramello bars, sounds good!
What a cool pit! We love ours.
Very awesome fire pit. Far better than buying an ugly industrial one in Billings!
Nifty looking firepit. It won't be long before you can use it without listening to AC's.
